KESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />4916 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Werner, Brockman, Graber, <br /> Magnotto, McBride, Ush~: <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public <br />Works to enter into a contract for the purchase of approximately 66,000 <br />gallons of No. 2 Heating Fuel Oil for a period of one year, commencing <br />February 1, 1973. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary to furnish the Waste Water Tre.atment <br />Plant and various other City departments with No. 2 Heating Fuel Oil for <br />their operations, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the iramediate preservation of the public property and <br />for the usual daily operation of these municipal departments; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCSL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br /> <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract for the purchase <br />of the necessary requirements of No. 2 Heating Fuel Oil for a period of <br />one year beginning February 1, 1973 for the Waste Water Treatment Plant <br />and various other City departments, with the lowest and best bidder after <br />advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and pro- <br />vided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon <br />its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />· vice President <br /> Clerka/ <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
