RESOLUTION NO. 4928 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Werner, Brockman, Graber, <br /> Magnotto, McBride, Usher, Wendling <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director <br />of Public Works to enter into a requirement contract for liquid chlorine, <br />lime, alum, ferric chloride or ferrous chloride, for a period of one (1) <br />year cormnencing Aprll 1, 1973. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a requirement contract for <br />the purchase of liquid chlorine, lime, alum, ferric chloride or ferrous <br />chloride, for a period of one (1) year commencing April 1, 1973 with the <br />lowest and best bidder after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Eresident <br /> Clerk~ <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
