RESOLUTION NO. 4934 BY: <br /> <br />Messrs.. Usher, Wendlfng, Brockman, <br />Graber, Magnotto, McBride <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director <br />of Public Works to enter into a contract, after approval by Council, for <br />the relocation of approximately 900 feet of storm sewer in Belle Avenue <br />extending from Detroit Avenue to the Railroad Tracks. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This Council has determined to proceed with the im- <br />provement set forth in the title hereof by contract, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This relocation is necessary because of the construc- <br />tion of the multi-level parking garage, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS This resolution codstitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the publfc health and safety <br />and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, there- <br />fore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF I~KEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he.is <br />hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the relocation of approxi- <br />mately 900 feet of storm sewer in Belle Avenue extending from Detroit <br />Avenue to the Railroad Tracks, in accordance with plans prepared therefore <br />in the office of the Director of Public Works, with the lowest and best <br />bidder after advertisement according to law, and only after approval of <br />such contract by the Council of the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and pro- <br />vided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted :~~ ~z/~ <br /> <br />Approved: 3~ s~Z~../Z~2f..~ <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
