RESOLUTION NO. 4936 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Graber, Magnotto, McBride, <br /> Usher, Wendling, Brockman <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public <br />Safety to enter into a contract or contracts for the purchase of motor <br />vehicle equipment for the Department of Public Safety. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure in <br />that it provides for the immediate preservation of the public safety <br />and welfare and for the usual daily operation of municipal departments, <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Directgr of Public Safety be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts <br />for the purchase of eleven (11) Police Department vehicles and for the <br />sale or trade-in of Police Department vehicles, with the lowest and best <br />bidders after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br />adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br />Adopted :. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br /> <br />- President / <br /> Clerk/ <br /> <br />Approved: j~/~ ~ ~/~?~ <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
