Magnotto, McBride, Usher, Wendling, Werner, Brockman, Graber AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Fina~/ca Director of tile City of Lakcwood to accept the principal and interest on special assessment levied on permanent parcel number 312-17-125, and kuown for street numbering purposes as 1338 Belle Avenue, on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel sazd special assessment for the years 1973-1975. ,.. WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has special assessment charged against the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 16-71, adopted by the Council of the City of Lake~¢ood on March 15, 1971, and WHEREAS, the. ox.mcr of the said property 1las tendered payment of the principal portion and interest on the special assessment ]evzed on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5716.16 of the Revised Code of the State of 0I~io, and WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore: BE IT RESOLVED BY %I{E COUNCIL OF TttE CITY (IF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OtlIO: Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $119.94 tendered in payment of the principal and interest for the years 1973-1975, of special assessment cha~ged against the property described as permanent parcel number 312-17-125 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga Coumty, Ohio, and lev%ed under Ordinance No.' 1~-7t adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 15, 197].. Section 2, That said special assessment as hereinbefo~e set forth having been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said spec]a] assessment for the years 1973-1975, levied ~'nder Ordinance No. 16-71, adopted by the Council o'f the City of Lakewood on March 15, 1971, on permanent parcel number 312-17-125 on tile County Auditor's Reoords and further described as being the Lakewood Realty Company's Subdivision #1, Volume 25 Page 26, each annual assessment being ~n the amount of $39.98. Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby anthorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled. Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the a~firmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, ~t shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and apl.~'oval by the Mayor.
