RESOLUTION NO. 4951 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Sinagra, Usher, Werner, Brockman, Graber, <br /> Magnotto, McBride <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Works <br />to advertise for bids for the construction of Municipal Parking Garage No. 2. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Plans and specifications have been prepared for the <br />aforesaid Municipal Parking Garage No, 2 by the consultants employed by <br />the City, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City of Lakewood to proceed <br />forthwith with the construction of the aforesaid Municipal Parking Garage <br />No. 2, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure provid- <br />ing for the irmnediate preservation of the public health and safety and for <br />the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br /> <br />OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for the construction of a Municipal Park- <br />ing Garage No. 2 in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared <br />by the consultant employed by the City. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the advertisement for said bids shall provide <br />for and require that bids for the construction of said Municipal Parking <br />Garage No. 2 shall be in accordance with said plans and specifications. <br /> <br /> Section 3. This resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption. <br /> <br />Adopted~ ~/.~-~ <br /> <br /> <br />
