RESOLUTION NO. 4959 <br /> <br />BY:Messrs. Brockman, Graber, Magnotto, <br />McBride, Sinagra, Usher, Werner <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION approving the Budget of the City of Lakewood, <br />State of Ohio, for the year 1974, and'authorizing the filing of same <br />with the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. ' <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the usual daily operation <br />of a municipal department arising from the fiecessity of preparing and <br />filing a budget for the year 1974, now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the Annual Budget submitted by the Director of Finance <br />of the City of Lakewood, showing the amount of money needed and the <br />necessary expenditures in the various departments of the municipality <br />for the year 1974, be and the same is hereby approved and the Clerk is <br />hereby ordered and directed to file same with the Auditor of Cuyahoga <br />County pursuant to the statute~ of the State of Ohio. <br /> <br />Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble .and provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds (2/3) of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br /> <br />
