RESOLUTION NO. 4960 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Graber, Magnotto, McBride, Sinagra~ <br /> Usher,' Werner, Brockman <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Works to <br />advertise for bids for the construction of the Hazelwood-Donald-Th~reau <br />relief ~torm sewer. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Plans and specifications have been prepared for the afore- <br /> said HazelwoodqDonald-Thoreau relief storm sewer by the consultants employed <br /> by the City~ and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City of Lakewaod to proceed <br /> forthwith with the construction of the aforesaid Hazelwood-Donald-Thoreau <br /> relief storm sewer, and~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing <br /> for the in~nediate preservation of the public health and safety and for the <br /> usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore; <br /> <br /> ~E IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF CHI0: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Directpr of Public Works be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for the construction of the Hazelwood- <br />DonatdrThoreau relief storm sewer in accordance ~ith the plans and specifi- <br />cations prepared by the consultant employed by the City. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the advertisement far said bids shall provide for <br />and require that bids for the construction of said Hazelwood~Donaid~Thoreau <br />relief storm sewer shall be in accordance with said plans and specifications. <br /> <br /> Section 3. This resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
