RESOLUTION NO. 4962 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Usher, Werner, Brockman, Graber, <br /> Magnotto, McBride~ Sinagra <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public <br />Works to enter into a .contract for the purchase of two (2) new power <br />bucket sewer cleaning machines for the Department of Streets <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />in that it provides for the immediate preservation of the public safety <br />and welfare and for the usual daily operation of municipal departments; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAREWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts <br />for the purchase of two (2) new power bucket sewer cleaning machines <br />for the Street Department with the lowest and best bidder after adver- <br />tisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons. ~tated in th~ preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br /> <br />
