RESOLUTION NO. 4969 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Magnotto, McBride, Sinagra, <br /> Usher, Werner, Brockman, Graber <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Works <br />to enter into a contract for the purchase of the necessary requirements <br />of gasoline for several departments of the City, for a period of one year <br />commencing November 1, 1973 and ending October 31, 1974. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary to furnish the several departments of the <br />City with gasoline for the operation of vehicles and motorized equipment, <br />and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution conStitUtes an emergency measure providing <br />for the immediate preservation of the public property and for the usual <br />daily Operation of a mumicipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> 'Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be, and he is hereby <br />authorized and directedlto enter into a contract for the purchase of <br />the necessary requirements of g~soline for a period of one year, beginning <br />November 1, 1973 and ending October 31, 1974, for the several departments <br />of'the City, with the lowest and best bidder, after advertisement accord- <br />ing to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for 'the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and pro- <br />vided it receives the a~firmative vote of twovthirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it Shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Approved <br /> <br />/ President <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
