RESOLUTIONNO. 4972 .... BY: Messrs. Graber, Magnotto~ McBride, S%nagr~ Werner, Brockman, USher AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and interest on special assessment levied on permanent parcel number 311-30-61, and known for street numbering purposes as 1351 Ethel Avenue, on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the years 1974 and 1975. WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has special assessment charged against the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance Ne.17-71, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 15, 1971, and WHEREAS, the owner of the said property has tendered payment of the principal portion and interest on the special assessment levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5716.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily eperation of ~municipal department; now, therefore: BE I~RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1o That the Director of Finance of the C~ty of Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $39olz tendered in payment of the principal and interest for the years 1974 and 1975, of special assessment charged against the property described as permanent parcel number 311-30-61 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and.levied under Ordinance No. 17-71 adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 15, 1971. Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbeforeset forth having been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special assessment for the years 1974 and 1975, levied under Ordinance No. 17-71, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 15, 1971, on permanent parcel number 311-30-61 on the County Auditors records and further described as being in the Richmond Park Subdivision, Volume 29, page 23, each annual assessment being in the amount of $19.56. Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor of C~yahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled. Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor° Adopted: Approved: Cl9rk~/ Mayor
