RESOLUTION NO. 4973 BY: Messrs. Graber, Magnotto, McBride, Sinagra, Werner, Brockman, Us. her A RESOLUTION accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the Budget Commission and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the County Auditor, and declaring an emergency. WHEREAS, this Council in accordance with the provisions of law has previously adopted a tax budget for the next succeeding fiscal year conwnencing January 1, 1974, and WHEP~AS, the Budget Con~issimn of Cuyahoga County, State of Ohio, has certified its action thereon to this Cguncil together with an estimate by the County Auditor of the rate of each tax necessary to be levied by this Council, and what part thereof is without, and what part is within, the 10 mill tax limitation; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, CUYAJtOGA COUNTY, OHIO~ Section 1. That ~he amounts and rates, as determined by the Budget Commission in its certification, be and the same are hereby accepted. Section 2. That the Clerk of this Council be and she is hereby direc.ted to certify a copy of this resolution to the County Auditor of said County. Section 4o That this resolution is hereby declared an emergenc% measure providing for the i~nediate preservation of public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason that it is i~mnediately necessary to adopt and ~ertify to the Count.y Auditor the City's acceptance of the levies of taxes to be made on the 1973 duplicate for collection in 1974 in order to comply with the statutes of the State and to p~ovide sources of revenue for municipal operation during 1974, and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of a~l members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Adopted: /,~! /~) ~, ~ , _ ~'
