RESOLUTION NO. 4976 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. McBride, Sinagra, Usher, <br /> Werner, Graber, Magnotto <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Judge Harold J. Craig and the staff of the <br />Lakewood Municipal Court for their contribution to the honor of having the <br />City of Lakewood, Ohio designated the safest, city in America. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Esquire Magazine in its December 1973 issue published <br />the results of a crime rate survey which showed that the City of Lakewood, <br />Ohio is the safest city in America, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the publication of such article has bestowed upon the <br />City of Lakewood significant honor and deserved national recognition, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, such enviable distinction is, to a substantial degree, the <br />result of efficient and impartial administration of justice by the Court and a <br />dedicated and devoted Municipal Court staff, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the contributions of Judge Harold J. Craig and the staff <br />of the Lakewood Municipal Court should be recognized in a proper and fitting <br />manner; now~ therefore , <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Lakewood City Council extends to Judge Harold J. <br />Craig and the staff of the Lakewood Municipal Court its appreciation and that <br />of all the citizens of this community for their contribution to the honor of <br />having the City of Lakewood, Ohio designated the safest city in America. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized <br />and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Judge Harold J. <br />Craig, Lakewood Municipal Court, 12650 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio and that <br />a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting. <br /> <br />Approved: ~~ c~! /~ ~-~ <br /> <br /> <br />
