Graber, Magnotto, McBride, <br /> Usher, Sinagra, Werner <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION auth6rizing and directing the Director <br />of Public Works to enter into a contract'or contracts for the purchase of <br />the necessary requirements of Valves and Pipe Fittings for the period <br />of one year commending January 1, 1974, for use in the Division of Water. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the public property and <br />welfare and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, now <br />therefore, j <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he'is <br />hereby'authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts <br />for the purchase of the necessary requirements of valves and pipe fittings <br />for the year 1974 for use in the Division of Water, with the lowest and <br />best bidder or bidders, after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and'approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />/ s nt <br />  Clerk/~ <br /> <br /> <br />
