Sinagra, Werner, Graber, <br />Magnotto, McBride, Usher <br /> <br />Adopted: ~~~/ /~~ <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directin~ the Director <br />of Public Works to enter into a requirement contract for the purchase of <br />the necessary items of Fire Hydrants and Fire Hydrant Parts for a period <br />of one year con~nencing January 1, 1974. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this.resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the irmuediate preservation of the public property and <br />welfare and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That-the Director of Public Works be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a requirement contrac't for <br />the purchase of the necessary items of fire hydrants and fire hydrant <br />parts for a period of one year commencing January 1, 1974, with the lowest <br />and best bidder~ after advertisement according to law. <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br /> emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and pro- <br /> vided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br /> elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force irmnediately <br /> upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br /> Clerk <br /> <br />Acting Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
