RESOLUTION NO. 5009 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Graber, Magnotto, McBride, Sinagra~ <br /> Usher, Brockman, Chinnock <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director of Public Works <br />to advertise for bids for the construction of two new tennis courts at <br />Lakewood Park, the resurfacing of three existing tennis courts at Madison <br />Park, four existing tennis courts at Wagar Park, two existing tennis courts <br />at Kauffman Park, and for sandblasting, sealing and painting of Madison Pool. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is ~he intention of the City to proceed with various park <br />improvements, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, monies for these improvements are available through Federal <br />Revenue Sharing Funds and have been allocated by the Finance Committee of <br />Council, now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for the projects listed below: <br /> <br />Construction of two (2) new tennis courts at Lakewood Park <br />Resurfacing of three (3) tennis courts at Madison Park <br />Resurfacing of four (4) tennis courts at Wagar Park <br />Resurfacing of two (2) tennis courts at Kauffman Park <br />Sandblasting, sealing and painting Madison Pool <br /> <br /> Section 2. <br />immediately upon its adoption and approval <br /> <br />That this resolution shall taz~ effect and be in force <br /> b Mayo r. <br /> <br />*pproved 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
