RESOLUTION NO. 5012 BY: Messrs. Graber, Magnotto, McBride, Sinagra, Usher, Brockman A RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director of Public Work~ to advertise for bids and enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder after approval by Council for the construction of approxi- mately 900 feet of 12-inch cast iron water main in Lake Avenue from Cove Avenue to a point approximately 900 feet west of Cove Avenue; an 8-inch cast iron main in Cove Avenue from Lake Avenue to Edgewater Drive and an 8-inch cast iron main in Webb Road from Lake Avenue to Clifton Boulevard, together with connections and necessary appurtenances. I~IEREAS, this Council has determined to proceed with the improve- ment set forth in the title hereof by contract, and, WHEREAS, this resolution provides for the immediate preservation of the public health and safety and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, OHIO: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be, and he is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the construction of a 12-inch cast iron water main in Lake Avenue from Cove Avenue to a point approximately 900 feet west of Cove Avenue; an 8-inch cast iron water main in Cove Avenue from Lake Avenue to Edgewater Drive, and an 8-inch cast iron water main in Webb Road from Lake Avenue to Clifton Boulevard, together with connections and necessary appurtenances~ in accordance with plans prepared therefore in the office of the Director of Public Works, with the lowest and best bidder after advertisement according to law, and only after approval of such contract by the Council of the City of Lakewood.
