RESOLUTION NO. 5014 BY: Messrs. Brockman, Graber, Magnotto, McBride, Sinagra, Usher, Chinnock AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and interest on special assessment levied on permanent parcel number 312-12-38, and known for street numbering purposes as 14903 ~lifton Blvd., on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the years 1974, 1975 and 1976. WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has special assessment charged against the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 25-72, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 6, 1972, and WHERE~S, the owner of the said property has tendered payment of the principal portion and interest on the special assessment levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5716.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emegency measure providing tor the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $79.56 tendered in payment of the principal and interest for the years 1974, 1975 and 1976, of special assessment charged against the property described as permanent parcel number 312-12-38 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and levied under Ordinance No. 25-72 adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 6, 1972. Section 2. that said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth having been accepted ss set forth in Section 1 hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special assessment for the years 1974, 1975 and 1976, levied under Ordinance No. 25-72, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 6, 1972, on permanent parcel number 312-12-38 on the County Auditor's Records and further described as being in the Lakewood Realty Company's Lakewood Park Subdivision, Volume 27 Page 26, each annual assessment being in the amount of $26.52. Section 3. £hat the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled. Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to in force immediately upon its adoption and approval Appr°ved ~~ ~ Mayor
