RESOLUTION NO. 5014 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Brockman, Graber, Magnotto, <br /> McBride, Sinagra, Usher, <br /> Chinnock <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director of the <br />City of Lakewood to accept the principal and interest on special assessment levied <br />on permanent parcel number 312-12-38, and known for street numbering purposes as <br />14903 ~lifton Blvd., on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and authorizing the <br />County Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the years 1974, 1975 and 1976. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has special assessment charged against the property <br />hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 25-72, adopted by the Council <br />of the City of Lakewood on March 6, 1972, and <br /> <br />WHERE~S, the owner of the said property has tendered payment of the principal <br />portion and interest on the special assessment levied on said parcel pursuant to <br />the provisions of Section 5716.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emegency measure providing tor the usual <br />daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to accept the sum of $79.56 tendered in payment of the <br />principal and interest for the years 1974, 1975 and 1976, of special assessment <br />charged against the property described as permanent parcel number 312-12-38 on <br />the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and levied under Ordinance No. <br />25-72 adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 6, 1972. <br /> <br />Section 2. that said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth having been <br />accepted ss set forth in Section 1 hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be <br />and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special assessment for the years 1974, <br />1975 and 1976, levied under Ordinance No. 25-72, adopted by the Council of the City <br />of Lakewood on March 6, 1972, on permanent parcel number 312-12-38 on the County <br />Auditor's Records and further described as being in the Lakewood Realty Company's <br />Lakewood Park Subdivision, Volume 27 Page 26, each annual assessment being in the <br />amount of $26.52. <br /> <br />Section 3. £hat the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed <br />to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County <br />for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled. <br /> <br />Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for <br />the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative <br />vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />in force immediately upon its adoption and approval <br /> <br />Appr°ved ~~ ~ <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
