RESOLUTION NO. 5040 BY: Messrs. Brockman, Chinnock, Graber, Magnotto, McBride, Sinagra, Usher. AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Works toadvertise for bids for the construction of Fire Station No. 3 and to enter into a contract with the lowest and best-bidders after approval by Council. WHEREAS, Plans and specifications have been prepared for Fire Station No. 3 by the consultants employed by the City, and, WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City of Lakewood to proceed forthwith with the construction of the aforesaid Fire Station No. 3, and, WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure provid- ing for the immediate preservation of the public health and safety and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHI'Q: Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be, and he is hereby authori'zed to advertise for bids for the construction of Fire Station No, 3 in accordance with the plans and spetifications prepared by the consultant employed by the City. Section 2. That the advertisement for said bids shall provide for and require that bids for the construction of said Fire Station No. 3 shall be in accordance with said plans and specifications. Section 3. That the Director of Public Works be, and he is hereby authorized to enter into contracts with the lowest and best bidders after approval by Council. Section 4.
