RESOLUTION NO. 5041 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Chinnock, Graber, Msgnotto, <br /> McBride, Sinagra, Usher, Brockman <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public <br />Works to enter into a contract or contracts for the purchase of two <br />van-type vehicles suitable for use as emergency medical vehicles for <br />use by Lakewood Hospital. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has received approval of its <br />Application and Agreement for Emergency Medical Service Highway Safety <br />Grant Fiscal Year 1975, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a portion of this grant is to be used for the purchase <br />of emergency medical vehi.cles, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, thls resolution constitutes an emergency measure in <br />that it provides for the immediate preservation of the public safety <br />and welfare and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the D~rector of Public Works be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts.for <br />the purchase of Bo (2) van-~pe vehicles suitable for use as emergen~ <br />medical vehicles with the lowest and best bidders after advertisement <br />according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
