RESOLUTION NO. 5051 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Sinsgra, Usher, Brockman, <br /> Chinnock, Graber, Magnot~o, McBride <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing Robert P. Duvin and Associates Co., <br />L.P.A. to represent and act as advisor for the City of Lakewood in mat~ers of <br />labor negotiation and relations with City employees. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during the recent course of negotiation with City employees <br />represented by duly recognized bargaining agents or organ~zations~ ~t has become <br />apparent that the City may be required to enter into co~llective bargaining <br />agreements with such' employees, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the field of labor relations and negot~.ation is a special~zcd <br /> field of law and it would be in the best interest of the City of Lakewood to have <br /> the benefit of tbe expertise of an individual and/or firm ~pecJa]izing in the <br /> field of labor relations before entering into such collective bargaining agree- <br /> ments, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, tbe law firm of Robert P. Duvin and Associates Co., L.P.A. <br /> bas substantial experience in the field of labor relations, ncgotiatdon, <br /> arbitration and r~lated areas; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL ~OF TIH~ CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OIIIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the City of Lakewood retain Robert P.
