RESOLUTION NO. 5061 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Sinagra, Usher, Brockman, <br /> Chinnock, Graber, Magnotto, McBride <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION requesting the State of Ohio, through the Public <br />Utilities Commission, to participate in certain hearings before the <br />Federal Power Commission. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for <br />the immediate preservation of the public health, and for the usual daily <br />ope.ration of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. Council hereby requests The Public Utilities Commission tO <br />notify the Federal Power Commission that it will participate in the <br />hearing in Washington on April 22, 1975. This case is docket No. R175-112. <br /> <br />Section 2. The Clerk of this Council be and she is hereby authorized to <br />send s certified copy of this resolution to: Mr. Carl Johnson, Ms. Sally <br />Bloomfield, Mr. David Sweet, Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, 111 <br />North High Street, Columbus, Ohio, 43215, Congressman Ronald M. Mottl, <br />1233 Longworth Building, Washington, D. C., 20515. <br /> <br />Section 3. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Approved: ~ ~/ <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
