RESOLUTION NO. 5062 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Chinnock, Graber, Magnotto, <br /> McBride, Sinagra, Usher, Brockman <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Works <br />to enter into a contract or contracts for the purchase of various items of <br />motor vehicle equipment for the Department of Public Works of the City of <br />Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Resolution constitutes an emergency measure in that <br />it provides for the immediate preservation of the public safety and welfare <br />and for the usual daily operation of municipal departments, now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br />OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts for the purchase <br />of the following motor vehicle equipment: <br /> <br />1 Street Sweeper for the Street Department <br />1 Front End Loader for the Street Department <br /> 1VacHaul Catchbasin Cleaner & Chassis for the Street Department <br />1 Dump Truck for the Park Department <br />1. 60-Inch Riding Mower for the Park Department <br />1 Packer Truck for the Refuse Department <br />1 4-Door Sedan for the Department of Public Works <br />1 4-Door Sedan for the Water Department <br />1 3/4 Ton Pick-Up Truck for the Water Department <br /> <br />and for the sale or trade-in of present equipment on such new vehicles with <br />the lowest and best bidder or bidders after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2, This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives <br /> <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all memb~e~r.~ <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon/its <br />Mayo r. <br /> <br />-President <br /> <br /> Clerk ~/ <br /> <br /> <br />
