RESOLUTION NO. 5076 BY: Messrs. Magnotto, McBride, Sinagra, <br /> Usher, Brockman, Chinnock, Graber <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Richard A. Gilbert for his public service Js <br />a member of the Planning Cormmission of the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in 1972 Richard A. Gilbert was appolnted to the Lakewood ~ity <br />Planning Co~m,ission for the full term ending December 31, 1977, but of necessity <br />has resigned said position due to a contemplated move in the i~m~ediate future~ to <br />another con~munlty. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS,. during his three year tenure as a member of the Planning <br /> Commission, Mr. Gilbert served one year as Chairman and one year as Vice Chairman <br /> of said Commission and at all times gave unselfishly of his time and effort to <br /> the work of the Commission, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Richard A. Gilbert has, throughout his year.s of service, <br /> evidenced continued interest in the development, progress and welfare of our <br /> community, and in particular was recognized as a conscientious, effective and <br /> respected member of the City Planning Commission, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the dedicated public service <br /> rendered by Mr. Gilbert be given public cognizance and recognition, now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY TtlE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. LakeWood City Council extends to Mr. Richard Ak Gilbert its <br />appreciation, and that of all the citizens of this community~ for his years of <br />distinghished public service to the City of Lakewood as a member of the City <br />Planning CommiSsion, and further that this Council wishes him continued suchess. <br />health and happiness in his new locale. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
