RESOLUTION NOL: 5088 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Chinnock, Graber, McBride, <br /> Sinagra, Usher, Brockman <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director <br />of Public Works to advertise for bids and enter into a contract after <br />approval by Council for the construction of approximately 525 feet of <br />8-inch water main in Clifton Road from Lake Road to Clifton Boulevard <br />and approximately 1200 feet of 8-inch water main in Webb Road from Clifton <br />Boulevard to Shaw Avenue, together with connections and necessary appurten- <br />ances. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has determined to proceed with the improve~ <br />ment set forth in the title hereof by contract, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure pro- <br />viding for the immediate preservation of the public health and safety <br />and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO:~ <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids and enter into a contract, after approval <br />by Council, for the construction of approximately 525 feet of 8-inch water <br />main in Clifton Road from Lake Road to Clifton Boulevard and approximately <br />1200 feet of 8-inch water main in Webb Road from Clifton Boulevard to Shaw <br />Avenue., together with connections and necessary appurtenances, in accordance <br />with plans prepared therefore in the office of the Director of Public Works, <br />with the lowest and best bidder after advertisement according to law, and <br />only after approval of such contract by the Council of the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
