Brockman, Graber, Magnotto, <br /> Sinagra, Usher <br /> <br />AN EMF, RGENCY RESOLUTION a. thor~zing and directiog the M~'~yor of tile City <br />of Lskewood to negotiate a contract with Fee and Fl~nn Architects, Cleveland <br />Ohio for feasibility stud~es,prelim[~nry constructJo, drawings, pla.s, <br />specifications, cost estinw]tes and financial feasibility for erection of <br />an air structure over Foster Pool including necessary remodelling work. <br /> <br />WHE~S, Foster Pool is one of the C~ty's finest recreatio.al facilities <br />b.t being an outdoor pool can only be used approximately three months of <br />the year, and ' ~. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, th~s Council is of the opinion that the citizens of this community <br />could better be served if said pool could be opened all the year round <br />and that a feasibility study for the erection of an air structure over <br />Foster Ppol so as to permit year-round use be made at the earliest possible <br />t~me, and <br /> <br />WI1EREAS, this resolutioe constitutes an emerge.cy measure itl that it provides <br />for the immediate preservatio, of the puhl. Jc hcal. t'b and welfare and for the <br />usual daily operation of a municipal department, now, tlierefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY /liE COUNCIL OF TIlE CIl~f OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OtlIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. 'II~at the Mayor of the City of Lnkewood be sod he is hereby <br />authorized and d~rected to negotiate a contract w~.th Fee and Flinn Architects, <br />2570 Superior Avenlle, Cleveland, Ohio, for feasibility ~tudies, preliminary <br />construction drawings, plans, specifications, cost estim~tes a.d fin~ulc~al <br />feasibility for the erection of an air structure over Foster Pool together <br />with necessary remodelling work. <br /> <br />Section 2. Funds required for the purposes set forth in Section 1 hereof <br />are hereby appropriated frown the General Operaling Fu.d, subject to repayment <br />from the i,~provement fund when and if this Council determines to proceed with <br />this project,said funds to be appropriated mot to exceed $5,000.00. <br /> <br />Adopted: ~~. ~, l 7,f <br /> <br />Section 3.
