RESOLUTION NO.: <br /> <br />5100 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Magnotto, McBride, Sinagra, <br /> Usher, Brockman~ Chinnock, Graber <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public <br />Works to enter into a contract for the sale of one used Alarm Truck, now <br />in the possession of the Fire Department, with the highest bidder after <br />advertising according to law. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it became necessary for the Fir~ Department to purchase <br />a replacement truck in order to properly maintain their emergency fire alarm <br />circuits, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, they no longer have use for the 1964 Ford utility truck <br />which had been in service, and~would like to dispose of it, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure in <br />that it provides for the immediate preservation of the public health and <br />welfare, and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br /> <br />OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1~ That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized <br />and directed to enter into a contract with the highest bidder for the used <br />1964 Ford utility truck no longer needed by the Fire Department, after ad- <br />vertising according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
