RESOLUTION NO.: <br /> <br />5100 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Magnotto, McBride, Sinagra, <br /> Usher, Brockman~ Chinnock, Graber <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public <br />Works to enter into a contract for the sale of one used Alarm Truck, now <br />in the possession of the Fire Department, with the highest bidder after <br />advertising according to law. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it became necessary for the Fir~ Department to purchase <br />a replacement truck in order to properly maintain their emergency fire alarm <br />circuits, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, they no longer have use for the 1964 Ford utility truck <br />which had been in service, and~would like to dispose of it, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure in <br />that it provides for the immediate preservation of the public health and <br />welfare, and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br /> <br />OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1~ That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized <br />and directed to enter into a contract with the highest bidder for the used <br />1964 Ford utility truck no longer needed by the Fire Department, after ad- <br />vertising according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an~ <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Presite~t <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />Clerk/ <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
