RESOLUTION NO. 5115 BY: <br /> <br />Messrs. McBride, Sinagra, Usher, <br />Brockman, Chinnock, Graber, Magnotto <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor of the City of Lakewood <br />to enter into a contract or contracts for the purchase of various <br />insurance coverages for the protection of the City of Lakewood effective <br />February 1, 1976 for a three year period. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure in that it <br />provides for the immediate preservation of the public safety and <br />welfare and for the usual daily operation of municipa~l departments; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT tLESOLVED BY %HE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. ~hat the Mayor of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts for the <br />purchase of various insurance coverages for the protection of the City <br />of Lakewood, including coverages on buildings and contents, movable, <br />unlicensed equipment, automobile physical damage, comprehensive liability <br />and automobile liability, to be effective for a period not to exceed <br />three (3) years, with the lowest and best bidder or bidders, after ad- <br />vertisement according to law. <br /> <br />Adopte '~ <br /> <br />Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />~ Presiden~ .~ <br /> <br /> ~yor <br /> <br /> <br />
