RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />5128 <br /> <br />BY:Messrs. Sinagra, Usher, Brockman, <br /> Chinnock, Magnotto, McBride, Salmon <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director <br />of Public Works to enter into a requirement contract for the purchase of <br />Alum, Ferric Chloride or Ferrous Chloride, Pebble Lime and Liquid Chlorine <br />for a period of one year commencing April 1, 1976. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and <br />welfare, and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a requirement contract for <br />the purchase of Alum, Ferric Chloride or Ferrous Chloride, Pebble Lime <br />and Liquid Chlorine for a period of one year commencing April 1, 1976 <br />with the lowest and best bidder after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and pro- <br />vided it receives the affirnmtive vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon <br />its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />/ Ma~or <br /> <br /> <br />
