Brockman, Chinnock, M~notto, <br />McBride, Salmon, Sinagra, Usher <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Works <br />to enter into a contractlor contracts for the purchase of various items of <br />motor vehicle equipment for the Department of Public Works of the City of <br />Lakewood. <br /> WHEREAS, this Resolution constitutes an emergency measure in that <br />it provides for the immediate preservation of the public safety and welfare <br />and for the usual daily ioperatlon of municipal depa.rtments, now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br />OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is hereby <br /> authorized and directedlto enter into a contract or contracts for the purchase <br /> of the following motor vehicle equipment: <br /> <br /> Two Dump Truct~s for the Street Department <br /> One Compressor for the Street Department <br /> One Packer Truck for the Refuse Department <br /> One Ash Trucklfor the Refuse Department <br /> One Dump Truck for the Water Department <br /> One Van for the Dog Warden, Health Department <br /> and for the sale or trade-in of present equipment on such new vehicles with <br /> the lowest and best bidder or bidders after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
