RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. ChinnOck, McBride, Salmon, <br /> Sinagra, Usher <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Works to enter <br />into a contract or contracts for the rental of uniforms for the various <br />employees of the Divisions of'Refuse, Streets, Parks, Water, Engineering <br />~astew&ter, and Police. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City of Lakewood will <br />furnish uniforms for certain employees, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, our present contract for the above service will expire <br />April 30, 1976, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department and <br />for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts for <br />the rental of uniforms for various employees of the Divisions of Refuse, <br />Streets, Parks, Water, Engineering, Wastewater Treatment and Police, with <br />the lowest and best bidder, after advertisement according to law, for a <br />period of two years, commencing May 1, 1976. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and pro- <br />vided it receives the affirmative vote of b~o-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall be deemed to be in effect upgn its adoption <br />and approval>//[~by the Mayor. / / //~ ~s~d~~~~Pr-~-L~// <br /> <br />CI'o~F/ <br /> <br />May~r <br /> <br /> <br />
