RESOLUTION NO. 5150 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Usher, Brockman~ Chinnock, <br /> Magnotto, Salmon <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION!to commend Paul A. Kolesar for his public service as <br />Superintendent of the Division of Parks and Public Grounds of the City of <br />Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WI~REAS, Paul A. Kolesar was first employed by the City on June <br />3, 1946, was transferred to the Division of Parks and Public Grounds on <br />January 17, 1947 and s~rved said Division continually thereafter until, <br />for reasons of health, an early retirement was necessary effective March <br />26, 1976, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Paul A. Kolesar attained the position of Foreman in July, <br />1947, Assistant Superintendent in April, 1956 and in January 1961 was appointed <br />Superintendent of his Division, which position he held until his untimely <br />retirement, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, hi~s~ steady promotion in the Division and his ready accep- <br />tance of responsibility are evidence of his leadership ability, devotion to <br />duty and continued interest in the progress and welfare of our cormmunity, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, thel personal involvement of Mr. Kolesar has been instrumental <br />in the popularity and ~success of the special events offered at Lakewood Park <br />and the beautificatio~ of our public buildings and grounds in both of which <br />the citizens of Lakewolod can take great pride, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that his nearly 30 years of <br />dedicated and devoted ~public service be given public cognizance and recognition; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section t. !That this Council extends to Paul A. Kolesar its apprecia- <br />tion, and that of all the citizens of this community for his many years of <br />devoted public service as Superintendent of the Division of Parks and Public <br />Grounds and further that this Council wishes him continues years of happiness <br />and prosperity in his!r~tirement. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
