Chinnock~ Magnotto, McBride, <br /> Salmon, Sinagra, Usher, Brockmam <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director <br />of Public Works to enter into a contractwith the lowest and best bidder <br />after advertisement according to law, forl~accepting and disposing of <br />mixed refuse of the City of Lakewood by truck hauling or railroad car- <br />loads for a period of three years commencing November 1, 1976 and terminat- <br />ing October $1, 1979. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the public health and~'.for <br />the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is <br />hereby authorized to enter into a contract for accepting and disposing <br />of mixed refuse of the City of Lakewood, by truck hauling or railroad <br />carloads for a period of three years, commencing November 1, 1976 and <br />terminating October 31, 1979~ with the lowest and best bidder after <br />advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 21 That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. ~~ <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br /> <br />
