RESOLUTION NO.: 5169 <br /> <br /> AN EMERGEi~Y RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director <br />of Public Works to a~vertise for bids for the grading, drainage, instal- <br />lation of tennis cou~ts and appurtenances and other miscellaneous work <br />required to construc~ Webb Road Park. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS th~ Cit of Lakewood has determined to construct a park <br />on Webb Road and is ~!n th~ process of acquiring the necessary property, and, <br /> WHEREAS, W~bb Road Park will have tennis courts, picnic tables <br />and playground equlp~ent, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS,is~ecifications have been prepared and are on file in <br />the office of the Director of Public Works for the grading, drainage, <br />and installation of ~ennis courts and appurtenanCes, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, thiS resolution oonstitutes an emergency measure pro- <br />viding for the usuallidaily operation of a municipal department and for the <br />immediate preserva~tii6n of the public health, safety and welfare, now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESO]EVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br />OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 'l..i That the Director of Public Works be, and he is hereby <br />authorized to advent!ise for bids for the grading, drainage, installation of <br />tennis courts and !apPurtenances and other miscellaneous work required to <br />construct Webb Roa!d iRark in accordance with specifications on file in the <br />office of the Direct!~r of Public Works. <br /> <br /> Section ~ .~ That the advertisement for said bids shall provide <br />for and require that! bids for this work shall be in accordance with said <br />specifications. <br /> <br />S~ction <br /> 3,ii That funds for this project shall come from Community <br /> Griint Funds available for this purpose <br />Development Block <br /> <br /> Section 4.,I That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />~mergency measure fol~ the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided <br />qt receqves the a~fq!~mat]ve vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall belideemed to be in effect upon its adoption and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopte ~ , ' ~/~/ <br />ApproveJ ' <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. grockman, Chinnock, Magnotto, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Sinagra, USher <br /> <br /> <br />
