RESOLUTION NO. :5168 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Chinnock, Magnotto, McBride, <br /> Salmon, Sinagra, Usher, Brockman <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION'authorizing the Director of Public Works <br />to enter into a contract for the purchase of approximately four thousand <br />tons of rock salt fo!r a period of one year commencing November 1, 1976 <br />after advertising according to law. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, iin order to provide safety for vehicular and pedestrian <br />traffic during the~winter months, it is necessary to purchase salt, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS 'this Resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing <br />for the immedia'te pPeservation of the public health, safety and welfare and <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br />OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works De and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract for the ourch~se of approxi- <br />mately four thousand tons of rock salt for the period commencing November 1, <br />1976 and ending October 31, 1977, after advertising according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
