McBride, Salmon, Usher, <br /> Brockman, Brown, Chinnock, Magnotto <br /> <br /> AN EI~RGENCY RES~:I.UTION authorizing the Director of Public Safety <br />to enter into a contract or contracts for the purchase of motor vehicle <br />equipment for the Department of l'ublic Safety. <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, this Resolution constitutes an emergency measure in that <br />it provides for the immediate preservation of the public safety and welfare <br />and for the usual daily operation of municipal departments; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY TIlE COU~'CIL OF TIlE CITY OF LAKEWi~OD, STATE OF OllIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Safety be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts for the purchase <br />of eight (8) Police Department vehicles and for the sale or trade-in of Police <br />Department vehicles, with the lowest and best bidders after advertisement <br />according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
