Usher, Brockman, Brown, Chinnock, <br /> Magnotto, McBride, Salmon <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director of <br />Public Works to enter into a requirement contract for the purchase of the nece- <br />ssary ztems of water meters and water meter parts for a period of one year com- <br />mencing Aprll 1, 1978. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, thms Resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing <br />for the usual daily operation of a munmcipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Sectmon 1. That the Director of Public Works be, and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a requirement contract for the purchase <br />of the necessary mtems of water meters and water meter parts for a period of <br />one (1) year, commencing April 1, 1978 wzth the lowest and best b~dder after <br />advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. Tht this resolutmon is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided ~t receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br /> <br /> . / <br /> <br /> (Pre~ <br /> Cler~ <br /> <br /> <br />
