P~SOLUTION NO. 5284 <br /> <br />BY:Messrs. Brown, Chinnock, Magnotto, McBride, <br /> Salmon, Usher, Brockman <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY P~SOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director <br />of Public Works to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder <br />after advertisement according to law, for the purchase of two(2), 60" <br />Commercial Mowers for the City of Lakewood's Parks Department. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing <br />for the immediate preservation of the public health and for the usual daily <br />operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br />OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is hereby <br />authorized to enter into a contract for purchasing two (2), 60" Commerczal <br />Mowers for the City of Lakewood's Department of Parks from the lowest and <br />best bidder after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for th reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br /> <br />
