RESOLUTION NO. 5328 BY: Magnotto, McBride, Salmon, Wendllngl, Brown, Brockman, Chinnock! AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION approving the Specifications and Damp Location Exhzbit for Furnishing Electric Street Lighting~Service in the City and authorizing and directing the Mayor as ex-officio Director of Public Works to advertise for bids for the furnishing of such service. WHEREAS, specifications for Electric Street Lighting of the City of Lakewood including Lamp Location Exhibit have been prepared and are on file in the office of the Mayor of the City, and WHEREAS, the public safety and welfare require the lighting of the streets of the City as therein provided, and WHEREAS, s~ch lighting should be procured by contract, and WHEREAS, thzs resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and welfare for the reason that such Electric Street Lighting is essential for the protection of pedestrian and vehicular traffic within the City; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF I2tKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Specifications for Electric Street Lighting f6r the City of Lakewood including Lamp Location Exhibit on file in the office of the Mayor of the City be and the same are hereby approved~ Section 2. That the Mayor as ex-officio Director oflPublic Works is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids for the furnishing of Electric Street Lighting Service for the City inlaccordance with the Specifications and Lamp Location Exhibit. Section 3. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereofland provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Coluncil, it shall take effect and be in force in~nediately Upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor; otherwise it shall take effect and be! in force f!rom and after the earliest period allowed by ~w.
