RESOLUTION NO.: 5342 <br /> <br />BY: B,rown, Magnotto, McBride, Sal.mon, <br /> Wendling, Brockman, Chinnock <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Mayor <br />as ex-officio Director of Public Works to enter intb a contract for <br />the purchase of an il-passenger Van as a replacement for a similar <br />type vehicle for the Department of Office on Aging with the lowest <br />and best bidders after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Resolution constitutes~an emergency measure in that <br />it provides for the immediate preservation of the public safety and <br />welfare and for the Usual daily operation of municipal deaprtments, <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1: That the Mayor as ex-officio Director of Public <br />Works be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into.a contract <br />or contracts for the purchase of an il-passenger Van, with the lowest <br />and best bidder or bidders after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and he in force immediately upon its <br />adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br /> <br />
