RESOLUT ION NO. 5 3 7 $ BY: <br /> <br />8rown,Chinnock, Magnott, <br />McBride, Salmon, Wendling, <br />Brockman <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and'di?ecting the Mayor, <br />as ex-officio Director of Public Safety to enter into a contract or contracts <br />for the purchase of ~ ' ' <br /> ~ommunlcatlons equipment for the Division of Police. <br /> <br /> ~JlEAS, this Resolution constitutes an emergency measure in <br />that it provides for the immediate preservation of the public safety and <br />welfare and fbr the usual ],' · <br /> · ca~ly operation of a mm]ici~al department; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br />OHIO: <br /> <br />BEI IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF I~KEWOOD, STATE OF <br /> <br /> SeCtion 1. That the Mayor, as ex-officio Director of Public <br />Safety, be an~ he is hereby ~uthorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />or contracts for the purchmse of cor~mmications equzpment consisting of <br />slx (6) po table radios and six (6) ~n-car charging un, ts, plus related <br /> r~ · <br /> <br />equipment wit~ the lowest and best bidder or bidders after advertisement <br />according ~o law <br /> <br /> Section 2. Thaz thms Resolution is hereby d~clared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the presmble hereof and pro- <br />vided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds o~ al/ ma~bers <br />elected to Counci]: it shall take effect and be in force ~m~ediately upon <br />its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br /> <br />
