RESOLUTION NO.: <br /> <br />5385 <br /> <br />BY: Brown,l Chinnock, Magnotto, McBride, <br /> Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY P~SOLUTION authorizing and directing the Mayor as ex- <br />officio Director of Public Works to enter into a contract for the purchase <br />of one EMERGENCY MEDICAL TRANSPORT VEHICLE AND BODY for~the Department <br />of Public Works with the lowest and best b±dders after advertisement according <br />to law. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Resolution constitutes an emergency measure in that it <br />provides for the immediate preservation of the public safety and welfare <br />and for the usual daily operation of municipal departments, now, therefore: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1: That the Mayor as ex-officio Director of Public Works be <br />and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter Into a contract or contracts <br />for the purchase of one Emergency Medical Transport Vehicle and Body, with <br />the lowest and best bidder or bidders after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. Funds for the aforesaid purchase shall be made from the <br />Federal Revenue Sharing Funds. <br /> <br /> Section} : ThLS Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provmded it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the <br />Mayo~. <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
