RESOLUTION NO.: <br /> <br />5395 <br /> <br />BY: Brown, McBride, McNally, Salmon, <br /> Wendlin~, Brockman <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Mayor, as ex-officio <br />Director of Public Works to enter into a coetract for the!purchase of floor <br />covering for Winterhurst Ice Skating Facility with the lowest and best bidders <br />after advertIsement according to law. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure in that it <br />provides for the immediate preservation of the public safety and welfare <br />and for the usual daily operation of mun~clpai departmentS, now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor as ex-officio Director of Public Works be <br />and be is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a Contract with the <br />lowest and best bidder after advertisement according to t~w for the purchase <br />of floor covering for Winterhurst Ice Skating Facility atla cost not to exceed <br /> $15,000. <br /> <br /> Section 2. The cost of aforesaid floor covering shoulN be paid from <br />Winterhurst Operating Fund. <br /> <br /> Sect~ou ~. Th~s ReSolutmon :s hereby declared to be an emerqemcy measure <br />for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be ~n force l~ediately upon its adoptmon~and approval by the <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
