RESOLUTION NO. 5437 <br /> <br />BY: Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling, Brown <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Harry F. Brockman, Jr. for his public service <br />as a' Councilman for the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Harry F. Brockman, Jr. was.elected to the Office of Councilman <br />of Ward Four in the City of Lakewood for the term con~nencing January 1, 1972 and <br />served continuously in that capacity until December 31, 1979, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Brockman most ably and with unique distinction served thms <br />Councml, the residents of h~s Ward and the community as President of this Council, <br />April - December, 1979 and Vice President of Council, January, 1978 - March, 1979 in <br />addition to having served as Chamrman of the important Finance Committee of Council, <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during his ezght year tenure as Co~mcLlman of Ward Four, <br />Mr. Brockman was recognized as a conscientious, effective and respected legislator <br />particularly knowledgeable in the field of municipal finance, who worked diligently <br />and extensmvely for the promotion, progress and betterment of the City of <br />Lakewood and its residents, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that such outstanding public service <br />rendered by Harry F. Brockman, Jr. be given public cognizance and recognition; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br /> <br />OHIO: <br /> <br /> Sectmon 1. That th~s Counczl extends to Harry F. Brockman, Jr. its <br />apprecLation and that of all of the c~tmzens of this communmty for his eight years <br />of dist~nguzshed public servmce as a Counczlman of the City of Lakewood and further <br />that this Counczl wishes him contmnued years of success, health and prosperity. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Coucnil be and she is hereby authorzzed <br />and directed to forward a certmfied copy of this resolution to Mr. Harry F.
