RESOLUTION NO. 5438 BY: Gallagher, Graham, McBride, Salmon, Wendling, Brown, Chinnock A RESOLUTION to commend Stanley D. Cook for his public service as Buidling Commissioner of the City Of Lakewood. WHEREAS, Stanley D. Cook a native of Vermont and a carpenter by trade, was employed by the City as a Building Inspector in 1964, and WHEREAS, Mr. Cook was elevated to the position of Bualding Commissioner of the City of Lakewood in 1970 and served in that capacity until his retirement, effective December 21, 1979, and WHEREAS, during his tenure as Building Commissioner, Mr. Cook played an integral part in overseeing significant building construction projects, both public and private, including Winterhurst Ice Rink, the Lakewood Office on Aging and Lak'ewood Center North, and WHEREAS, under his leadership and direction the Building Department of the City of Lakewood has achieved an enviable record of performance and servace, and through his warmth and genuine anterest, Mr~ Cook has won the respect and affection of his colleagues and all those who came in contact with him, and ~EREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public service rendered by Mr. Cook be given public cognizance and recognition; now, therefore, OHIO: BE IT Pd~SOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF Sectaon 1.
