PJESOLUTION NO.: 5451 BY: Gallagher, Graham, McBride, Salmon, <br /> Wendling, Brown, ChinnoCk <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director of <br />Public Works to enter ~nto a requirement contract forithe purchase of <br />Alum, Ferric Chloride or Ferrous Chloride, Pebble Lime and Liquid Chlorine <br />for a period of one year commencing April 1, 1980~ <br /> <br /> Whereas, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing <br />for the immediate preservation of the public health, Safety and Welfare <br />and for the usual daily operation of a .~nicipal department, now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1, That the Director of Public Works, be and he IS hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a requirement contract for the <br />purchase of Alum, Ferric Chloride or Ferrous Chloride, Pebble Lime, <br />and Liquid Chlorine for a period of one year commencing Aprll 1, 1980 <br />wlth the lowest and best bidder after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That th~s resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof land provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon lts adoptlon <br />by the Mayor. <br /> <br /> <br />
