REEOLUTION NO.: <br /> <br />5462 <br /> <br />~¥:Gall~gher, Graham, McBride, Salmon, <br /> Wendlling, Brown, Chinnock <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Works to enter <br />into a contract or contracts for the rental of unZforms~ for the various <br />employees of the Divisions of Refuse, Streets, Parks, W~ter, Engineering, <br />Wastewater and Police. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City of Lakewood will <br />furnish uniforms for certain employees, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, our present contract for the above servic~ will expire <br />May 13, 1980, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolutaon constitutes an emergency ~easure providing <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal departmentland for the immediate <br />preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, now, therefore: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEW©OD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is hereby <br />authormzed and directed to enter into a contract or contracts for the rental <br />of unmforms for various employees of the Divisions of Refuse, Streets, Parks, <br />Water, Engmneering, Wastewater Treatment and Police, with the lowest and best <br />bidder, after advertisement according to law, for a period of two years, <br />commencing May 14, 1980. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated mn the preamble hereof aRd provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-th~rds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />be deemed to be mn effect upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
