RESOLUTION NO.: <br /> <br />5463 <br /> <br />BY: Graham, McBride, Salmon, Wendling, <br /> Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher <br /> <br /> A~N EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director Of Public Works to <br />advertmse for bids and enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder <br />for the repair to the shell of the outlet nozzle on the precipItator and <br />lower conical section of the cooling tower at the Inciherator. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, these repairs are urgently needed to keep the Incinerator <br />in operation, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ specifications have been prepared and are on file in the <br />Department of Public Works, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department and for the immediate <br />preservation of the public health, safety and welfare,.now, therefore: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Sectmon 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids and enter into a contract with the lowest <br />and best bidder for the repair to the shell of the outlet nozzle on the <br />precipitator and lower conical section of the the cooling tower at the <br />Incmnerator in accordance with the specificatzons on file in the Department <br />of Public Works. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That monies for this repair work are available through <br />the Federal Revenue Sharing Fund. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated ~n the preamble hereof and provided mt <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council <br />it shall be in force immediately upon its adoption and lapproval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />President <br /> <br /> <br />
