RESOLUTION NO. 5474 <br /> <br />By:Brown, Ghinnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride,~ Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Mayor to <br />enter into a contract with Genera] Systems, Inc. to perform a technical <br />assistance project to conduct a technical engineering ~nalysls of the <br />municipal building under the Department of Energy's Insltitutional Buildings <br />Program. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergelncy measure in that <br />it proVides for the ~mmedlate preservation of the publiic health and welfare <br />and for the usual dally operation of a municipal deparltment, now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF L~KEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor of the City of LakeWood be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contractlwith General Systems, <br />Inc. to perform a technical assistance project to condu~t a tenchnical engineer- <br />ing analysis of the municipal building under the~Department of Energy's <br />Institutional Buildings Program. <br /> <br /> Section 2. Funds required for the purposes selt forth in Section <br />hereof are to be appropriated from the grant award fromlthe Department of <br />Energy and the matching funds required shall be "in kind" in nature only <br />as defined in the Office of Management and Budget Circullar Number A-lO2. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated ]n the preamble hereof and provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immedlately upon its adoptibn and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: ~ ~:~/ /~/~ <br /> <br /> <br />
