RESOLUTION NO. 5498 <br /> <br />BY: 5raham, McBride, Salmon, <br /> ~endling, Chinnock, Gallagher <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION withdrawing the objectiion of Council to the <br />issuance of new D-1 and D-3A liquor permits by applicant:Robert Wood Inc. <br />/dba/ Kevin McDonough's Tavern, to an establishment located at 13314-21 Madison <br />Avenue, 1st Floor, in the City of Lakewood and repealinglResolution No. 5488. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5488 adopted September 2, 1980, <br />this Council objected to the granting by the Department Of Liquor Control of <br />the State of Ohio of the application of Robert Wood Inc. /dba/ Kevin McDonough's <br />Tavern to issue D-1 and D-3A permits to premises known aS 13314-21 Madison <br />Avenue, 1st Floor, Lakewood, Ohio, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this applicant has agreed to withdrawlits application for <br />a D-1 liquor permit at said location, the issuance of which permit was the <br />principal objection of the Gity, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, with the withdrawal of the applicatio~ for a D-1 permit, <br />Council deems it appropriate to withdraw its objection t~ the issuance of <br />the D-3A permit by applicant Robert Wood Inc., and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure in that <br />the hearing on Council's objection to the within application has been <br />scheduled for Tuesday, November 8, 1980; now, therefore,, <br /> <br />OHIO: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Council authorizes and direct~ the Director of <br />Law of the City of Lakewood to withdraw Council's objections to the issuance of <br />a new D-1 and D-3A liquor permits by applicant Robert Wood Inc. /dba/ Kevin <br />McDonough's Tavern to an establishment located at 13314-21 Madison Avenue, <br />1st Floor in the City of Lakewood, Ohio. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That Resolution No. 5488 adopted SEptember 2, 1980 <br />shall be and the same is hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this resolution is hereby decllared to be an emergency <br />measure and provided it receives the affirmative vote ofi two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be 'in force immediately <br />upon its adopt,i, on and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Approval~ /~'~/'~:f~O <br /> <br /> <br />
